We are happy to open the doors of our new showroom on the Grand Canal, completely renovated and ready to welcome customers and visitors.<\/p>\n
Our historical headquarters in Venice, located in Santa Croce 1320, has a large exhibition space that welcomes our customers from all over the world and passionate visitors who want to discover our ancient techniques of artisan fabric production. In fact, on the ground floor of our building, you will find the wooden looms from the 18th century with which we make our manual velvets<\/a>. We wanted a restyling that would enhance the room and at the same time create a welcoming space for our customers and guests and a functional area to present our collections of luxury fabrics<\/a>.<\/p>\n We thus worked on a project with architects Diana Zabarella and Gianluca Bevilacqua who, being part of our family, has always breathed the art of weaving and the beauty of Venice. What was created is an elegant yet functional showroom where typical Venetian furniture elements combine with precious velvets, lampas, brocatelle, and satins.<\/p>\n The refined floor – in a warm brick color – is made with the ancient technique of Terrazzo Veneziano<\/em>. A type of flooring of the Venetian lagoon tradition that was very popular in Venice in the ‘700 and that is back in vogue even in modern luxury residences. It is created with tiny fragments of marble and stones, assembled and then smoothed, with a handcrafted laying technique.<\/p>\n The chandeliers are Murano glass creations and the entrance door from the Grand Canal has a typically Venetian leaded stained glass window.<\/p>\n The walls are partly covered with\u00a0Damask 31026<\/a> in red color that makes the room elegant and cozy It alternates with panels made of some of our most beautiful and representative fabrics that become at the same time a display and a decoration. Infatti, al piano terra del nostro edificio, si trovano i telai lignei del 700 con i quali realizziamo i nostri velluti a mano<\/a>. Volevamo un restyling che valorizzasse l\u2019ambiente ed allo stesso tempo che creasse uno spazio accogliente per i nostri clienti ed ospiti ed un\u2019area funzionale per poter presentare le nostre collezioni di tessuti pregiati<\/a>.<\/p> Abbiamo quindi lavorato ad un progetto con l\u2019architetto Gianluca Bevilacqua che, essendo parte della nostra famiglia, respira l\u2019arte della tessitura e la bellezza di Venezia da sempre. Ci\u00f2 che \u00e8 nato, \u00e8 uno showroom elegante e allo stesso tempo funzionale in cui elementi d\u2019arredo tipicamente veneziani si sposano con velluti, lampassi, broccatelli e rasi preziosi.<\/p> Il raffinato pavimento, in un caldo color mattone, \u00e8 realizzato nell\u2019antica tecnica del Terrazzo Veneziano. Una tipologia di pavimentazione della tradizione lagunare che ebbe grande diffusione a Venezia nel \u2018700 e che \u00e8 tornata attuale anche nelle residenze di lusso moderne. Viene creata con piccoli frammenti di marmo e pietre, assemblati e poi levigati, con una tecnica di posa artigianale.<\/p> I lampadari sono creazioni in vetro di Murano mentre la porta di ingresso dal Canal Grande possiede una vetrata artistica piombata tipicamente veneziana.<\/p> Le pareti sono in parte rivestite con il Damasco 31026<\/a> in colore rosso che dona eleganza e rende l\u2019ambiente accogliente. A questo, si alternano pannelli realizzati con alcuni dei nostri tessuti pi\u00f9 belli e rappresentativi, che diventano allo stesso tempo esposizione ed arredo.
