The main boast of the company is that range of fabrics still hand-produced on original seventeenth/eighteenth-century looms.
Now as then, all the phases of manufacture are manual - from the creation of the perforated cartoons that reproduce the exclusive fabric designs, to the preparation of the weft and the organisation of the individual threads.

The precise and delicate gestures of the weavers produce veritable works of art, refined textiles and fabrics destined to decorate royal palaces, theatres and famous homes.

For almost three hundred years now, Bevilacqua has nurtured these precious - and increasingly rare - skills, in a fascinating and magical setting where the hum of the looms and the expert hands of the weavers keep alive an art of the past which has a clear place in the world of today.
